How does DataLens back up your images?Updated 13 days ago
DataLens uses both local and cloud-based storage to protect your images.
Local backup (SD card):
You can install an SD card in the DataLens device.
Images are saved directly to the SD card as they are captured.
This allows you to access and download images locally if needed.
Cloud upload with failover:
DataLens uploads images to the cloud during each upload cycle.
If the device loses connection, images continue to be stored on the SD card.
No images are lost during temporary network interruptions.
Automatic upload recovery:
Once a stable connection is re-established, DataLens resumes uploading.
The most recent image is uploaded first.
Backlogged images stored on the SD card are then uploaded in sequence.
This ensures continuous image capture with automatic recovery from connectivity issues.
