Follow these step-by-step instructions to set the Access Point Name (APN) on your ZTE MF833V modem:

Insert the Modem: Plug the ZTE USB modem (MF833V) into an available USB port on your laptop.
Check the Indicator Light: Wait for the indicator light on the modem to illuminate. It should turn blue or start blinking, indicating a successful connection.

Disable Existing Connections: To prevent conflicts, ensure that any existing WiFi or Ethernet connections on your laptop are disabled.

Open a Web Browser: Launch a web browser of your choice (e.g., Chrome, Firefox).
Enter the Default Gateway: Type in the modem's default IP address, usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, in the address bar and press Enter.
Log In: If prompted for a password, enter the default password, which is typically Admin (case-sensitive).

Navigate to APN Settings: Again go to Settings > Network Settings > APN.
Disconnect First: Click the Disconnect button.
