Can I update the UpBlink firmware without an internet connection?Updated a year ago
Yes, you can update the firmware using a USB flash drive:
- Download Firmware: From a computer with internet access, download the latest UpBlink firmware
.zipfile from the CamDo website. - Prepare USB Drive: Ensure your USB flash drive is formatted to FAT32 (common for drives 32GB or less). Do not unzip the firmware file; place the
.zipfile in the root directory of the USB drive. - Connect to UpBlink: Plug the USB flash drive into UpBlink's USB-A port.
- Initiate Update: With UpBlink powered on, press and hold the WiFi button until the LED flashes green once per second. UpBlink will search for the firmware file and, upon finding it, the LED will flash magenta during the update process.
- Completion: After updating, UpBlink will delete the firmware file from the USB drive. The process may take a few minutes.
